From 2020, owners of controlled foreign companies (CFC) will have access to a new regime for paying taxes on CFC profits: if desired, they can abandon the standard procedure for declaring profits of a foreign company and instead pay a fixed fee of 5 million rubles per year.
An additional bonus of the "fixed" regime is that there is no need to submit CFC financial statements to the Russian tax authorities. It seems that the benefits of switching to such a mode are obvious, but the devil, as usual, is in the details.
You can learn more about the advantages of the fixed CFC mode in our brochure at the link.
