On March 26, 2020, the CBR directive “On cases of crediting funds to accounts/deposits of residents opened with financial market organizations located outside the territory of the Russian Federation, and debiting funds from such accounts/deposits” was registered.
The directive provides that the crediting and debiting of funds from an account opened with financial market organizations located outside the territory of the Russian Federation will be carried out without restrictions.
The directive was published on the CBR website on April 6 and will officially enter into force on April 17.
