Today, the annual conference organized by Russia's leading legal publication - Pravo.ru - took place: “Wealth Management: Legal and Tax Issues.”
Sergey Gerasimov, Managing Partner of ALPINE Tax, an expert in private wealth and tax law, spoke in the conference’s first session on the topic “Private Foundation in the UAE.”
During his presentation, the following topical issues related to structuring personal assets were addressed:
- Common shortcomings in family wealth structures;
- Why a Private Foundation is needed in the UAE;
- Asset protection through a Private Foundation in DIFC, UAE;
- Controlled inheritance of assets through a Private Foundation in the UAE;
- Tax burden for foundation beneficiaries (Russia, UAE);
- Plan for establishing a Private Foundation in the UAE.
