On October 21, the annual conference organized by Russia’s leading legal publication, Pravo.ru, took place: “Family and inheritance law: legislative changes and current practice.”
Sergey Gerasimov, Managing Partner of ALPINE Tax, Head of the Family and Inheritance Law practice, spoke in the second session of the conference on the topic “Private foundation in the UAE and Russia”.
The presentation addressed the following current and important issues:
Common shortcomings in family asset structures;
Why a private foundation is needed in the UAE;
Asset protection through a private foundation in the DIFC, UAE;
Controlled inheritance of assets through a private foundation in the UAE;
Tax efficiency of a foundation in the UAE, DIFC;
