First successful cases of NSD approval of applications for coupon payments on Russian Federation eurobonds with custody at CLEARSTREAM

We are pleased to report the first successful cases of approval by the National Settlement Depository (NSD) of applications for coupon payments on Russian Federation eurobonds with custody at Clearstream in accordance with Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 665 dated 09.09.2023.

Payments in rubles have already been credited to clients' Russian accounts

The applicable method of receiving payments in Russia depends on the bond ownership chain.

Issuers may make payments of income on eurobonds in two ways:

to pay the debt through NSD;
to issue replacement bonds and exchange them for eurobonds.
