Maria Vershinina, Director of Alpine Tax’s UAE office, took part in a conference organized by Dubai Chambers and dedicated to the latest changes in UAE labour law.
The program covered the following topics:
· Overview of UAE labour law;
· Visa requirements and key employment and immigration issues when setting up a business;
· Recruitment and termination procedures;
· Issues related to payroll processing and various types of bonuses;
· Categories of visas and work permits;
· Key employment terms and conditions: probation period, performance management, complaint handling procedures and dismissal.
