“A private foundation is a special type of legal entity that has no shareholders. Assets are removed from ownership and transferred to the control of a professional trustee in a highly reliable jurisdiction, for example in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).”

According to ALPINE Group, a foundation makes it possible to:

• remove assets from ownership and transfer them into trust management;

• minimize international taxes and inheritance taxes;

• set up a long-term system for distributing assets among heirs;

• ensure confidentiality (the information is not disclosed publicly and reporting is not required in Russia);

• help organize the digitalization of medical care and education for the younger generation and older people
